These terms govern any club organizer's use of CourtQ — the matchmaking, live court board, and session-management platform at https://dohapicklers.club/courtq/ — including the free trial. By creating a CourtQ account, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the club you represent.
CourtQ is software that helps you run pickleball open play sessions: skill-balanced matchmaking, an auto-rotating court queue, a live QR court board for players, and session/results history. We may add, change, or improve features over time.
New accounts get a free trial period, shown at signup (currently 3 days). Starting a trial requires adding a payment card — we ask for this up front so there's no separate step to remember later, not to catch you out. Your card is not charged when you start the trial.
We'll email you a reminder 24 hours before your trial ends and your card is charged for the first time. If you'd like to keep using CourtQ, you don't need to do anything — your subscription starts automatically when the trial ends. If you'd rather not continue, cancel any time before your trial ends from your dashboard's Settings > Billing, and you won't be charged anything at all.
CourtQ is billed monthly, on the same date each calendar month, at the price shown to you at signup (currently $27/month). Your first charge happens automatically when your free trial ends, using the card you added at signup, unless you cancel before then. If we ever change pricing, we'll give existing subscribers advance notice before it applies to them. For renewals after your first payment, we'll remind you at least 72 hours before each charge so there are no surprises.
There's no long-term contract and no minimum commitment — you can cancel any time. When you cancel, your subscription simply won't renew again; you keep full access through the end of the period you've already paid for.
Subscription fees are non-refundable. If you cancel before the end of a paid period, your access continues (and no further charge is made) until that period's end date — we don't refund the unused portion of a period you've already paid for.
Player names, session records, and anything else you or your players enter into CourtQ belong to you, not us — we store it to run the service on your behalf. If you cancel and would like a copy of your club's data, or want it deleted, contact us and we'll take care of it.
Each club's player roster is private to that club — a player who signs up or checks in with your club is never mixed into another club's roster. This applies whether their information was entered by the player themselves (through an event's signup link, your club's Live Court Board, or your permanent club link) or entered on their behalf by you or your staff during in-person check-in.
Because CourtQ and Doha Picklers Club are operated by the same owner, that owner also holds the information collected from players across every club on the platform, and may use it to send players updates about Doha Picklers Club and CourtQ. A player agrees to this once, when their account or check-in record is first created — whether they created it themselves or a club director entered it on their behalf — and isn't asked again on later visits.
The CourtQ name, logo, and software are owned by us and licensed to you for use while your account is active — not sold or transferred to you. Please don't try to resell, sublicense, or share account access outside your own club, or attempt to copy, reverse-engineer, or scrape the platform.
CourtQ is provided "as is." We work to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you've paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
We may update these terms as the platform grows. We'll post the revised version here with an updated date; continued use of CourtQ after a change means you accept the revised terms.
